Each seat includes a monthly quota of AI points. These serve as the unit of consumption for using the AI ​​functions integrated into Kauz aiWorkplace. The quotas are sized to ensure that the respective user group has sufficient capacity for a typical month’s activities. Depending on the task and the model used, writing a simple text generally consumes around 2–3 AI points.

We recommend using KauzSelection as the standard model. It automatically selects the most suitable and cost-effective model for each task. This allows your employees to benefit from high-quality results without needing prior knowledge of models, model classes, or cost structures.

Workflows and the aiWorkflowBuilder are integrated into the aiWorkplace at no additional platform cost. All users can execute available workflows. A charge of 0.5 AI points applies per workflow run, in addition to the AI ​​points required for the AI ​​agents or language models utilized within the workflow. Workflow execution costs are deducted from the user’s existing AI point allowance. Once the included allowance is exhausted, the seat’s standard overage rate applies (if enabled). Consequently, workflow usage is treated the same as other tasks within the aiWorkplace and is fully integrated into the existing AI point and limit system.

We recommend the following seat types for these example use cases:

Light: Light users with a low volume of simple monthly requests (e.g., drafting emails, translations).

Standard: Regular users who work with documents daily and create text, analyses, images, graphics, and workflows.

Power: Heavy users who perform complex analyses and work with large volumes of documents (typically 1–2% of the company).

If users exceed their monthly quota, consumption-based billing for additional AI points (“overage”) applies. Pricing for this varies by user group: the higher the selected seat tier, the lower the price per additional AI point.

You can upgrade to a higher seat tier at any time. Downgrades are possible starting with the next billing period.

Yes, this is currently possible with systems from Microsoft, Atlassian, Notion, Google, and Kencube. Integrations are continuously being expanded.

Customers select and book seats directly within aiWorkplace. Payment is processed via the Stripe payment platform, offering various payment methods such as credit card, SEPA Direct Debit, and payment on invoice. For annual contracts, seat fees are billed in advance, while usage-based overage charges are invoiced monthly based on actual usage.

The contract renews automatically unless terminated. For an annual subscription, a notice period of three months prior to the end of the term applies. If notice of termination is not given by the deadline, the contract renews automatically.
